Islam, the religion of approximately 7 million Americans, promotes peace, prayer, humility as well as social, communal and family values. However, despite the many similarities and values shared with other faiths, such as Christianity and Judaism, Islam remains the most misunderstood religion in America. Ignorance is recognized as a major source for the hatred and violence that exists in today's world. By eliminating ignorance, we can help create a more peaceful and tolerant environment where we can understand and appreciate each others' faith.
The mission of the project is to encourage people to search for unbiased information on Islam and to promote understanding and dialogue between people of different faiths. Due to the presence of much negativity and Islamophobia, the general public has the daunting task of sifting through uninformed and biased sources before they can find reliable outlets. We are providing an opportunity to anyone who has questions to have them answered by informed Muslims....

The ad’s theme is “Inspired by Islam”, and is meant to convey the audience that Islam is a practical faith followed by people from different professions and ethnicities – a global religion.
The ad will be broadcast in Kansas City, Lee’s Summit, Grandview, and Belton. Ads will be broadcast on following networks CNN, TBS, TNT, Food, Bravo, A&E, and TLC starting from June 21, 2011.

The challenges we face as a Muslim community are increasing on a daily basis. Our neighbors who are suspicious about Islam and Muslims are rapidly growing due to the anti-Islam campaigns conducted by individuals and groups for their political gains. The cure to this disease is to educate people.
Prophet (saw) said, "Convey from me even an Ayah of the Qur'an" [Bukhari].
Islamic Circle of North America, Kansas City Chapter, is organizing a two-week dawah campaign on the theme "Islam & Shariah".
Radio Ads
The radio ad is aimed to invite the Kansas City listeners to learn more about Islam and Shariah by calling our Gain Peace Hotline, 1-800-662-ISLAM.
