Insha Allah Drs Ekram and Mohamed Rida Beshir will be visiting Kansas City to provide educational workshops on “Family and Marriage.”

Session 1: “Process of Selection and the first two years of Marriage”
This session covers objectives of marriage in Islam, right to choose, proper process of selection, common mistakes, available matrimonial help in North America, and some reflections on the first two years of marriage, as they are the most sweet, but in the same time the most critical. The session will end up with some recommendations on how to make the needed adjustments into marital life.

Session 2: “How to Achieve Harmony within the Family”
This session covers ingredients of a successful marriage, spousal interaction and relationship, spousal obligations, proper conflict resolution in Islam, etc.

Session 3: “Case studies”
In this session, attendees are divided into groups and every group is given a case to study, analyze, and answer related questions using the knowledge gained from the previous sessions. The groups will present their analysis to all attendees with comments from both speakers. (Expected time 90 Min)
